A new chapter for Acres Homes.

Legacy Community Health was honored to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Legacy Acres Homes Clinic, a major step forward in bringing quality healthcare closer to the families and individuals who call Acres Homes home.

This new clinic brings a wide range of services together under one roof, including:

💙 Behavioral health services
💊 Pharmacy services
✅ Preventive care and wellness support

💙🏥 Working together to build a healthier Southeast Texas.

Legacy Community Health was proud to host the State of Healthcare in Southeast Texas Luncheon, bringing together healthcare leaders, community partners, and local advocates for an important conversation about the future of healthcare in our region.

A highlight of the event was a panel discussion featuring Robert Palussek, CEO of Legacy Community Health; Paul Trevino, President and CEO of CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System; and David LeMonte, CEO of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. The conversation was moderated by The Honorable Dade Phelan and focused on key issues impacting Southeast Texas, including access to care, workforce development, behavioral health, and community health priorities.

We were also honored to present the Heart of Healthcare Award to Gift of Life in recognition of its longstanding commitment to providing lifesaving screenings, health education, and preventive care throughout Southeast Texas.

✂️A ribbon cutting, a new chapter, and a stronger future for Acres Homes.

We were proud to soon celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Legacy Acres Homes Clinic, a milestone years in the making and an important investment in the health of the community.

This new clinic brings healthcare services closer to home, making it easier for individuals and families to access the care and support they need.

From routine checkups and preventive care to behavioral health and pharmacy services, our goal is simple: help more people receive quality care in a place that is convenient and welcoming.

To continue serving you, we are transitioning care from our Legacy Deer Park location to Legacy Pasadena Southmore, our new clinic located at 1951 Southmore Avenue, Pasadena, TX 77502.

As part of this transition, our Legacy Deer Park location at 3430 Center Street will close on Friday, October 9, 2026. This will be the last day patients will be seen at the Deer Park location.

Our team is working to make this transition as easy as possible. We will help transition your care and upcoming appointments to Legacy Pasadena Southmore or any other Legacy location of your choosing. Golf for good means care where students need it most.

At KIPP Sharpstown, Andre Williams met with his Legacy therapist during the school day after losing his grandmother earlier this year.

For his mother, Anderra, having care on campus meant she could support her son without missing work.

All proceeds from the Legacy Community Health Golf Classic on October 12 benefit School-Based Health Care, helping more students access medical and behavioral health services on campus.

👵👴 Celebrating grandparents, family, and healthy living!

Legacy Community Health was honored to participate in the Grandparents Day 2026 Health Fair at BakerRipley Gulfton, hosted by UnitedHealthcare.

Throughout the event, our team connected with grandparents, parents, children, and caregivers by:

🩺 Providing blood pressure screenings
🩸 Offering blood glucose screenings
💊 Sharing medication counseling and health education
📚 Providing information about Legacy's clinic and pharmacy services

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the important role grandparents play in our families while helping community members learn more about their health and the resources available to them.
