🐾 Remi Has Been Waiting Almost a Year… and He Still Believes Someone Will Choose Him

Remi’s story breaks our hearts a little every time we tell it. He was found abandoned in a park, alone and confused. We traced his microchip and tried again and again to reach his owner… only to learn he wasn’t wanted back. So he came home to us, and he’s been here ever since—almost a full year now—waiting for the person who finally sees his worth.

💛 Who Remi Is

• 6 years old, 27 lbs, with short little legs and the sweetest white face
• Completely house‑broken
• Loves belly rubs, soft toys, and a cozy couch
• Enjoys short walks
• Needs to be the only dog

A New Dawn is in urgent need of a Friday‑morning volunteer. If you’re 18 or older and have a heart for small dogs and a few sweet cats, we would be grateful for your help.

Our little rescue runs entirely on kindness, and even a few hours makes a real difference for the little animals in our care

We’re a no‑kill, `all volunteer, 501(c)(3) adoption center in Deer Park, TX, helping small dogs and cats find loving homes. We only foster in true emergencies and we do not transport. All adopters must complete an in‑person meet and greet before approval of application.
