What's better than the exciting sounds of paddles hitting the water? That plus some local live music! Second Wind and Scott Alexander Music will be performing at the 2nd Mountain Maryland Dragon Boat Festival on August 26, at Broadford Park! Gates open at 9 am, and dragon boat racing happens throughout the day. Come and enjoy the excitement, along with some amazing music, craft vendors and food trucks! $5/car admission! See you there!

We had a baked chicken dinner schedule for this Saturday at Swanton Communty Center. It was advertised in the Republican. We are cancelling it and asking people to attend the dinner and fundraiser at the VFW in Deer park instead. It's a benefit for Randy Harold that's fighting cancer. Please 'Like' and 'Share'!
