Dedham Education Foundation The DEF raises private funds to support, enhance and enrich public education in Dedham.

We sponsor several popular annual community fund-raising events - including the Town Spelling Bee (March), DEF Dash 5K (October) and the Flight of the Flamingos (May) Since 1991, the Dedham Education Foundation has pursued its mission to enhance and enrich public education in Dedham at all grade levels. The DEF raises private funds to support beneficial activities inside and outside of the classroom and to promote creative teacher initiatives.

Thanks to for featuring our Spelling Bee in this week’s article. It was a wonderful event, attend med and enjoyed by many families and their students. It’s a great honor to have this shared out widely in the community. We’re already excited to next year!

What a night! We loved seeing our Dedham community come out to watch and support all the many DPS students who participated in this year’s DEF’s Spelling BEE! 🐝

Congratulations to all of the participants in the 30th annual fundraiser benefiting Dedham Public School Students ✨ It is always a treat getting to watch these students shine and be great examples of teamwork.

Such a wonderful night of community and support for our schools! Thank you to our sponsors, teachers, families, superintendent, and YOU! This event wouldn’t be possible without your help and participation.
