Winneshiek County Chapter of Thrivent Financial

Winneshiek County Chapter of Thrivent Financial A non-profit organization that serves members and society by guiding both to be wise with money and live generously. Our Chapter serves Winneshiek County.

One thing that makes Thrivent Financial unique is our chapters. As a fraternal benefit society, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans operates more than 1,300 local groups of members called chapters. The chapter system is a way for members to help their greater community through volunteering activities, educational events and social activities. Why Chapters Exist:

Chapters create meaningful ways for m

embers to come together to strengthen the communities and congregations they care about. They also provide a greater sense of ownership and advocacy within Thrivent Financial. Getting involved with your local chapter is a great way to connect with others and invest in your community and congregation. How Chapters Work:

Each chapter is led by a chapter leadership board consisting of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members, elected by chapter members. The board is responsible for promoting and supporting programs and activities. The board also manages and administers the Care Abounds in Communities® chapter program locally. Through this program, activities are conducted by community service teams which are made up of a group of Thrivent Financial members and non-members who come together to help an individual, family in need or a not-for-profit organization. Service teams can also carry out member social and community educational activities. Congregational advocates work with their chapter to help bring Thrivent Financial resources to their congregation.
