Hello everyone!
We may all be cooped up at home, preventing the spread of coronavirus, but that doesn't mean we have to stop being sustainable. Right now it's important to ask yourself how you can make the best of this situation, and ECO is here to help! As it so happens, March is the perfect time to get your garden started. Plus, gardening is a great way to get outside and connect with nature, while staying safe on your property.
For those of us who have little experience gardening, it can seem like a very daunting task. But don't worry! We want to help you through this process. So, if you have any questions about things like gardening or composting, comment below, direct message us, or email us at [email protected]. Best of luck to all of you!

Luther students!

This Thursday at 7:30 we will be having our fourth meeting in Valders 367! Come check it out!
If you haven't heard of us yet, you may be wondering "what is Eco?" Eco is a place where students of any major or background are encouraged to gather as a community to advocate for sustainable change. Even though Luther has ambitious goals regarding sustainability, it seems that only a small portion of the student body is involved with the effort to achieve these goals. Our belief is that greater change will occur if more people are involved. Thus, Eco's mission is to involve more students in the effort to build community centered around sustainability on campus and beyond.
This week we will begin with a discussion around what has inspired each of us to take action for the environment. Then, we will continue to work on projects relating to campus life and beyond. If you have not yet been to an Eco meeting, we want you to know that it is never too late to come! Eco is a place for all students concerned about the environment to gather.
