Chase Adam, a member of the Prairie Shooting Stars and the Winneshiek County Council, hosted a grab-n-go tie blanket workshop during June and July. Participants were able to make two blankets, one to keep and one to donate to EveryStep Grief & Loss Services, an organization that provides Cheer Boxes to children who lose a parent. This organization is especially important to Chase because in 2015 when he lost his father, this organization sent him a "Cheer Box" to help him in the grieving process of losing his father. One hundred and two blankets were returned and donated to EveryStep Grief and Loss Services. Amanda Fagen and Megan Mondt, program coordinators at EveryGrief and Loss Services, graciously accepted his donation.

Chase would like to thank the following people who helped him make fleece blankets for his 4-H leadership project: Melissa Hageman, Dawn Teslow, Lauren Ondrashek, Annie Ondrashek, Robin Wilkins, Brenda Frana, Bailee Frana, Thelma Masher, Helen Snell, Allison Hageman, Annie Hageman, Ashley Nierling, Anders Wickland, Addison Wickland, Diane Engen, Karlee Bullerman, Haylee Hanson, Theresa Hanson, Becky Werges, Kolton Werges, Kamryn Werges, Jodi Wenthold, Karissa Wenthold, Brianna Wenthold, Molly Holthaus, Anna Grace Holthaus, Lynn Headington, Heather Kleiber, Alexandra White, Emma Hansen, Avery Luzum, Colleen Kray, Emily Kray, Loretta Henry, Gina Whalen, Robin Timp, Jeanne Luzum, Paige Luzum, Megan Hubka, Justice Nelson, Beth Holthaus, Betty Backes, Ellen Krousie, Sarah Pegler, Emma Pegler, Jan Pfiffner, Chance Adam, Caylie Adam, Bridget Adam, Calleen Adam, Laina Ford, Calmar Lutheran Church, Jen Conger, Phyllis Quass, Tracy Halverson, Karen Newcomb, and Rhonda Todd.
