Every year, thousands of young people in foster care reach age 18 and face a daunting reality: no stable home, limited financial support, and little clarity on what comes next. The article highlights the remarkable impact of one nonprofit – FLITE Center stepping in to provide housing, job-readiness programs, mental health support, and a community that says: “You’re seen. You’re valued.”

At Lott Legacy, we believe in equitable access and opportunity, making sure that no young person is left trying to navigate adulthood alone. This story reinforces our conviction and amplifies our call: we must build more inclusive pathways and safe spaces for transition.
