MLK Jr. Service Project Decatur, GA The MLK Service Project brings people of all ages and backgrounds together, working toward Dr. King's goal of the “Beloved Community.” JOIN US!

Every year on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, neighbors come out in force to improve the homes of our elderly neighbors and those in need of assistance in order to be the "Beloved Community" spoken of by Dr. King. Generous donors, skilled craftsman, local businesses, and 1000s of volunteers work together to do hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of improvements to dozens of homes throughout our neighborhoods.
