👩🏽‍🍳🌱 We successfully launched our first Chefs Club cooking class, kicking off our seasonal culinary training series!

Participants got hands-on experience preparing Savory Sautéed Tri-Greens while learning essential kitchen skills, food preparation techniques, teamwork, and the value of seasonal cooking in a supportive and welcoming environment.

The class featured locally sourced ingredients, including fresh produce from Global Growers and other minority-owned farms, helping participants connect culinary skills with local food systems and seasonal eating.

We’re excited by the strong participation, enthusiasm, and community connection that made this first class such a success. Stay tuned for more opportunities to learn, cook, and grow together!

Thank you

🎓✨ Congratulations to the 25 incredible women who completed our 12-week Parent Engagement English Class!

Through our partnership with the DeKalb County Parent Engagement Department, participants strengthened their English skills while learning how to navigate the U.S. education system, understand school-related vocabulary, and confidently advocate for their children’s success.

When parents feel informed, connected, and empowered, entire families thrive. We are honored to create welcoming spaces where refugee and immigrant parents can learn, grow, and build confidence as leaders in their communities. ❤️

Please join us in celebrating this amazing group of women and their commitment to lifelong learning and their children’s futures!

Our Outdoor Wellness Program recently explored the Chattahoochee River with naturalist and EcoAddendum founder Kathryn Kolb. 🌿

Participants learned about native plant life and the fascinating ways trees protect and heal themselves after injury — a powerful metaphor for the resilience, adaptation, and healing we witness every day at Refugee Women’s Network.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these that connect women to nature, community, and wellness.

Thank you 💚

Creativity has no age 🎨✨
Our senior class spent the day painting, laughing, and expressing themselves through art. Every brushstroke told a story, and every smile made the room brighter. 💙
