We loved hosting our Brownie Girl Scouts for a Hands On Horses experience! From cowboy handshakes to learning all about our horses, it was a fun-filled day at the barn! ✨🐴

Another successful Hands On Horses session is in the books thanks to our friends at Horizon Over the Spectrum, Inc. 🐴💚

This amazing group had the chance to meet Panda, learn how to safely feed treats, and discover more about horses and their unique personalities.

Our Hands On Horses program gives participants the opportunity to interact with and learn about horses while working through the fence line. We find that this approach helps build confidence in participants. They can engage with the horses in a safe, comfortable environment without the added pressure of being in the same space. It allows everyone to learn at their own pace while still creating meaningful connections with these incredible animals.

That’s a wrap! 🐴✨ Our second Adult Pony Crew course is officially in the books!

Little Creek is proud to offer this non-riding program for adults who want to build confidence and learn the fundamentals of horse care from the ground up. Throughout the course, participants gain hands-on experience with grooming, groundwork, horse handling, and basic wound care—all while developing a deeper understanding of these incredible animals.

Interested in joining our next Adult Pony Crew session? Send us a DM, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction! 🤎

Dillon turns 25! 🎉🐴
Join us at the barn on March 22 as we celebrate one of Little Creek’s most beloved horses.
After years of teaching riders and being everyone’s favorite steady partner, it’s time to give Dillon the birthday party he deserves. 🎂
Come celebrate with us!

So grateful for our Little Creek community 💚
Thanks to 50 amazing volunteers, we removed 20 bags of English ivy, collected 4 bags of trash, and even pulled a small refrigerator out of the brush.

This incredible work would not have been possible without our community and volunteers. Thank you to Park Pride for helping spread the word, and to the Decatur High School Ivy League team for coming out to help. Such a powerful way to start the new year—thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🌿🐴

Help us give the park a little love 🌿
Join us for an ivy-clearing community cleanup next to the barn—fresh air, good company, and you just might catch the horses playing while you work 🐴
