Rotary Club was a part of Decatur’s 3-Day MLK Service Project.

Rotarians came together to help repair and improve a home in our community, demonstrating the true meaning of Service Above Self. It was a powerful day of hands-on service, fellowship, and collaboration, a community working together to make a real impact.

Projects like this highlight what Rotary is all about: people showing up, taking action, and serving others where it matters most.

On August 1 we welcomed, Alex Urban | PGA Tour Championship, Atlanta

Alex Urban is the Executive Director of the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, an annual professional golf tournament organized by the PGA, which also raises money for local community organizations. The championship takes place at the East Lake Golf Club. Mr. Urban received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University, and a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Georgia. Equipped with a background in communications and marketing, Alex utilizes his passion for storytelling to manage relationships with the championship’s sponsors, generate community impact for local nonprofits, and grow the event in all areas.
