LIHEAP Walk-Ins Available This Week!

Tuesday, August 25 through Thursday, August 27
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Walk ins are first come, first served while slots are available

Please bring copies of all required documents:

• Photo ID
• Social Security cards for all household members
• Proof of income for the past 30 days for all household members age 18 and older
• Current electric bill

The LIHEAP program is ending. Monday, August 31 will be the final day for walk-ins.

Assistance is available while funding lasts. Clients must have copies of all required documents to be served.

Water Assistance Mass Intake Day

Partnership for Community Action will accept the first 80 walk-ins for water assistance on Friday, August 28, 2026.

Decatur, GA 30032

🕗 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Clients must bring copies of all required documents:

• Current photo ID for the applicant
• Social Security cards for everyone in the household
• Proof of income for the past 30 days for employed household members age 18 and older
• Current water bill showing a past-due balance

Assistance is available for residents of DeKalb, Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale counties.

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis while slots are available. Provide all required documents at intake.

This is what community looks like:

Shout out to Nancy Lee Way Block Captain, Dalise Robinson, for transporting a medically frail neighbor to a relative’s home yesterday while Georgia Power worked to replace power to homes along the street. Limbs that fell from an old growth oak tree temporarily blocked driveway and street leaving neighbors without power for roughly 8hrs.

*Thank you to those emergency crews as well! 🦺🔌👷🏾‍♂️

Grateful to wake up in a neighborhood that looks out for one another!

(Did you know Pendley Hills Civic Association Membership Chair Danielle Devalier is President?! 🤩)

It is $10 annually (plus a $1 fee per the processing charge).

Your dues help Rowland PTA host school events for students throughout the year including classroom pizza parties, afterschool dances, and more! Dues also aid in celebrating teachers and staff throughput the school year as well!

Welcome to our new neighbors! Great to celebrate our neighbors who have lived in Pendley Hills for 10, 20, 30+ years with many here in what was once their childhood home! 🏡

Thank you to DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department for providing us with a few of our local heroes from Station 24. 🚒 It was definitely a core memory day.

and we were worried about the weather. 🥹

Good Sunday, Neighbors!
Attached is the flyer for our Neighbors Night Out. You will see this along with Back to School supply lists going out to community mailboxes ASAP.

For those who are able, please plan to walk over or ride bikes, scooters, etc so we may leave space on the street for parking as well as for the fire truck that will be present as a courtesy of DeKalb County Fire Dept.

Drinks, snacks, and ice pops will be provided by the association which will also have tables set up for community members to learn about each committee within the group.

There will be limited seating available so feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort.

We will have music, co****le, sidewalk chalk, sparklers, and the sprinklers will be turned on for the kids to play in.

Last but not least don’t forget to bring your gently used toys to trade! Toys will be set up by age group to drop off as well as to “shop” from.
