Today was an awesome day at Rock Chapel Garden!
Ive been in there for the past week, rearranging rocks into garden beds and raking leaves and debris. I had 6 piles of leaves scattered around the garden.

Today Ms Jennings 4th grade class came and HAPPILY moved all of the piles into the bush, as well as rake and rake some more!!!!

They did an awesome job. I think ICEZ should host a pizza party for them or an ice cream social.

THANK YOU to the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Inc's - Tau Pi Omega Chapter who volunteered in our Rock Chapel Elementary School garden. They did an AKAstanding job!!!

At the Rock Chapel Garden 2day. DeKalb County came thru and dropped a load of garden soil for us. Hooray. I had 5 helpers from Ms Bradshaw's class assist me in moving the pile inside the fence.

Rock Chapel Elementary Garden Transplant Day! All of the seedlings have a new warm and sunny home!!!

The kiddos at Rock Chapel Elementary completed their seed planting, and now their seedlings are ready for transplating. I took them home for spring break. Guess Im plant sitting.

It was action day in the city. With the assistance of Carerena Abel (community service worker) we weeded Rock Chapel Garden, picked up a load of books, tagged them and dropped them to several of our locations.
Redan Rec,
Lucious Sanders Rec,
East DeKalb Health Center and Deshong Park are all full - ready for this beautiful weather this weekend.

Teacher Planning Day in DeKalb County so the children are out of school. Had 3 of the kiddos today and did a book drop. I love when they pounce on the book libraries as we filled them❤️
