For Marquita, finding a home means giving her three children the safety and stability they deserve.

After months of experiencing homelessness, including nights spent sleeping in their car, Marquita connected with NLCA’s Motel 2 Home, a United Way program, for support on her journey toward stable housing.

Now, her family is moving forward with hope. Her children are stable in school, and Marquita is preparing for a career in healthcare.

Stories like Marquita’s remind us what’s possible when a family has support, resources, and a path forward.
