Do you or a loved one have concerns about falling? Don’t let that fear restrict your activities!

Join us for A Matter of Balance, an award-winning, 4-week program designed to help you manage falls, increase your activity levels, and build confidence. We will cover practical strategies to reduce fall risks at home and practice exercises to improve strength and balance.

📅 When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, Nov 3 - Dec 3
🕤 Time: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
📍 Where: Meigs County Boys and Girls Club (17690 TN-58 N, Decatur, TN)

This class is perfect for anyone interested in improving their flexibility and strength, or anyone who has fallen in the past.

Regular checkups help children stay healthy at every age. 🩺 From well-child visits and recommended immunizations to oral health screenings and health education, preventive care helps children grow and thrive.

Another successful Healthy Horizons for Meigs County today! It was a fun Friday of health education and physical activity. Thank you to all the partners who help make this wonderful event happen! Fight Flu is coming up on October 20!

Local county health departments across Tennessee will offer free flu shots as part of the statewide 2026 Fight Flu prevention effort.

There are several ways to help protect yourself and those around you from the flu. Along with getting an annual flu shot, you can help reduce the spread of illness by washing your hands, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home when you’re sick.
