We are ABSOLUTELY TRILLED to share THE BIG NEWS!!!! Have you all noticed something VIBRANT and BEAUTIFUL today??? Please come out and join us Friday at Noon for the official dedication!!

Our newest community mural is now up at Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy on Eldorado St.

We've been sharing clues about this new colorful Advocate mural the past several weeks. Local artist Toni Picasso, aka Antonio Burton created this vibrant mural and DynaGraphics Inc. installed the piece this morning as part of our Untold Stories initiative.

The finished mural celebrates community, connection and the power of advocacy - using our voices, standing beside others and helping ensure every person is seen, heard and supported.

We're excited to share the completed work with you. Join us Friday, August 28 at noon for a ribbon cutting and celebration of public art in our community.

This project was partially supported by an Illinois Arts Council grant.

Are you in need of some back to school clothes for your children? Check out Dove's Children's Clothing Room, located at Central Christian Church (650 W. William St.). It's open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 - 3:30 p.m. Donations are all accepted those days/times. No referrals needed. Families can come once a month to pick out outfits for children in the household ages 0 - 18. Call 217.428.6616 and ask for Melissa with any questions!

Hello Everyone… we are so excited for a young lady who has been working really hard to find a job … she LANDED the JOB!!Now this young lady is in need of clothing to wear to work. Does anyone have any 0-2 size jeans, without rips or holes, they would be willing to donate. This young lady starts work on Thursday and doesn’t have any jeans to wear. Donations can be dropped off at our front desk anytime 9-5, M-F. We sincerely appreciate everything you do to assist the youth and families we serve!!
