WHY I’M RAISING $5,000: SOMEONE HAS TO POUR INTO THE NEXT GENERATION.

I’m Moneé E.M. Sanders, Business Mentor, Global Keynote Speaker, and President of Alopecian Beauty Co.

One thing I believe wholeheartedly: Young people need more than inspiration. They need EXPOSURE, ACCESS, MENTORSHIP, and OPPORTUNITY.

Through Alopecian Beauty Co., I’ve had the privilege of mentoring students from high schools, colleges, and HBCUs through STEM education, life sciences, leadership development, professional etiquette, philanthropy, and career exposure.

One experience that remains close to my heart was working with young women at Spelman College for National STEM Day.

I wanted them to do more than hear about science. I wanted them to put on a lab coat, see themselves in the industry, and recognize that they belong in laboratories, research institutions, hospitals, boardrooms, and leadership positions.

Because sometimes one experience can change how a young person sees their future.

Through our Empower The Youth Fund, Inspire Philanthropy Program, and BioDiscover Youth Initiative, we’re working to connect young people with professionals, executives, scientists, legislators, and opportunities they may not otherwise experience.

I’m personally raising $5,000 to help expand these opportunities, including:

🧪 STEM kits and hands-on learning experiences
🎓 Youth mentorship and leadership development
🥼 Lab jackets and educational materials
🤝 Professional networking and career exposure
🏛️ Philanthropy, advocacy, and leadership experiences
🌎 Educational field trips and community engagement

Welcome to the Create Smiles Daily: Community Health & Healing Arts Program, presented by Alopecian Beauty Co.

This community-based health and wellness program provides Fulton County residents with health education, mental wellness support, preventive health resources, resource navigation, referrals, healing arts activities, and opportunities to improve overall health and quality of life.

The program has a special commitment to individuals and families impacted by alopecia, lupus, cancer, autoimmune conditions, chronic illness, stress, trauma, and health disparities, while welcoming eligible Fulton County residents who can benefit from our health and wellness services.

Join Alopecian Beauty Co. for the RE-INTRO TO BUSINESS & COMMUNITY LUNCHEON, an afternoon designed to reconnect Atlanta's students, professionals, entrepreneurs, healthcare and public-health professionals, nonprofit leaders, business owners, and community leaders.

Health Awareness • Health Equity • Business Development • Community Impact

This isn't just another networking event. We're creating a room where meaningful introductions can lead to new relationships, resources, mentorship, collaborations, business opportunities, and greater community impact.

Guests will have opportunities to network, participate in meaningful conversations, learn more about community and professional resources, and hear from leaders working across health, business, public service, and community development.

The luncheon will also serve as a kickoff leading into Alopecian Beauty Co.'s 9th Annual Valor & Voices Health Equity Symposium & Gala on November 30, 2026 and our continued work toward the Alopecian Beauty Co. Medical Center Fund.

Great-morning WARRIORSSSS!

From an 18-year-old founder and our first Beauty Mixer to recognition at the Georgia State Capitol; this is what nine years of showing up looks like.

Today is Alopecian Beauty Co. Day!

Before we head to the Georgia State Capitol this morning, we want to take you back to where this story began.
Not to a medical center.
Not to a gala.
Not to government halls.
Not to programs operating across multiple communities.
But to 2017.

STORY TIME: Nine Years Ago…

Nine years ago, around this very same time, Alopecian Beauty Co. held our first nonprofit event: the Alopecian Beauty Mixer at the DoubleTree by Hilton.

Our President, Monee’ Sanders, was only 18 years old.

There wasn’t a nine-year track record to show people.

There wasn’t a statewide recognition day.

There wasn’t a $1 million Medical Center campaign.

There was simply a young woman with a vision—and a room full of people willing to believe that families impacted by hair loss deserved something more.

And we can still remember that room.

There were dermatologists. Small-business owners. Friends. Families. Mothers and daughters. Mothers and sons.

There were people sharing stories, making connections and learning together.

There was even a sponsor who believed enough in the vision to support that first event all the way from Texas.

That night felt like a family reunion before we even fully understood the family we were creating.

And we will never forget it.

Look at Us Nine Years Later.

That little event became a movement.

Today, Alopecian Beauty Co. is a 501(c)(3) organization working at the intersection of alopecia, lupus, cancer, life sciences, research, education, health equity and community support.

Our work has reached communities across multiple states, and our vision has taken us beyond the United States.

But what means the most isn’t how far we’ve traveled.

It’s why we kept going.
