World Cup excitement is building, and there are some great events happening around DeKalb County so you can be part of the energy!

Longtime Leadership DeKalb alumnus, Greg White ’96, is sharing one of his passions for the arts through an exhibit at Sycamore Place Gallery, along with an upcoming art walk highlighting our local arts community.

The exhibit “Spotlight on James ‘Red’ Moore” will run June 7 -18th at Sycamore Place Gallery. Mr. Moore, an Atlanta native, was a talented first baseman in the Negro League who played for the Atlanta Black Crackers and other teams. His story is more than baseball, it is a reminder of talent that thrives despite limited opportunities; a legacy that inspires future generations.

The exhibit will include pictures, artwork, articles, collectibles and a Negro League Baseball mini library.

On Sunday June 7th 3-5pm guests will enjoy a special talk with Greg White, friend, historian and publicist for “Red” Moore .
