I’ve really struggled with the decision to skip putting up this year’s display. It has been very heartwarming and sweet to hear from people in my community who have been touched by my display and are truly sad that it won’t be happening this year.

The time and energy it requires to put it together has escaped me this season, partially due to other obligations as well as some family issues. Things have settled a bit in my personal life, so I will hopefully get some of the display up in the coming days, weather permitting. My heart has been hurting knowing I was letting so many people down. While it won’t be as detailed this year, I hope to bring joy and holiday cheer to all who pass by. 🎄🎄🎄

Thank you all for a wonderful season!! We are going to take advantage of the weather and start taking some things down. We may still turn the lights on during the process, depending on the weather. Rain shuts it completely down. Thank you again for all the support and enthusiasm. May you all have a blessed year!

It seems our PAWS donation bin blew away during the last round of high winds. For now any dog/cat food donations can be set on our porch until I figure out a way to keep a collection bin in the yard that will stay put.
