The Court-Ordered Burn Ban has ended by order of Benton County Judge Barry Moehring.

Open, controlled burns are allowed in parts of Benton County after submitting an application for a permit.

Residents within city limits must comply with local laws and ordinances. Please review your local city laws before conducting an open, controlled burn.

Notify the County before burning by completing a controlled burn permit online or by calling 479-273-5530. Only the burning of yard waste and agricultural clearing operations are permitted. https://bentoncountyar.gov/fire-marshal/

You must stay with the fire until it is out. If you encounter any problems during the burn, please call 911.

You cannot burn household trash, tires, chemicals, construction demolition, or salvage waste wood or lumber (treated or untreated).

The open burning of anything not specifically exempted is considered a violation of state law.
