The DeBary Foundation welcomes Dan Bokuniewicz to the Team! Dan joins as a volunteer Portfolio Lead for our "Elevating Community Futures" portfolio. He brings decades of experience in banking, wealth management, and financial advising, having served as a bank manager, wealth advisor, and financial advisor. He is currently Owner and Chief Financial Officer of a local real estate corporation.
In this role, Dan will advance initiatives focused on youth leadership, education, and civic engagement. His expertise and commitment to community service supports our work creating opportunities to empower the next generation of leaders.

Big things are happening at DeBary Elementary Eagles Phase I of their stairwell art project is complete bringing color, energy, and inspiration to a space students use every day. This vision, created by art teacher Ms. Nancy Hatch is being brought to life by renowned Foundation Volunteer artist Ms. Terri Hoag, Director of the Gateway Center for the Arts, with the full support and guidance of Principal Ms. Stacy Gotlib.
Up next: Phase II, where the 5th grade students will join in, adding their own "hands-on" (truly hands-on, just wait to see) creativity to leave a lasting mark on their school, and establishing a tradition for future graduating classes.
The Foundation is proud to support this incredible school and a project that will inspire students for years to come

Reminder - the Love Mission event on preventing human trafficking is Tue, 6pm, at the Gateway Center for the Arts. Please join us for this free event.

Tina Kadolph, Palate Coffee’s owner, serving DeBary and Sanford, will share a local perspective on human trafficking, a critical issue impacting our community. We are proud to support this free informational session hosted by Ms. Prebble Bonett and Ms. Barbara Hurley Newmark on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 PM at the Gateway Center for the Arts.
