My Brother's Keeper-Detroit An initiative aimed at helping young men of color gain access to education and employment opportunities in the Detroit area.

The My Brother's Keeper Initiative-Detroit works to reduce the opportunity gap for young men of color by assisting them with gaining access to employment, education and community engagement opportunities. The program works to achieve 6 core goals which are:

1.)Entering school ready to learn
2.)Graduating from High School Ready for College and Career
3.)Reducing Violence and Providing a Second Cha

5.)Completing Post-Secondary Education and Training
6.)Reading at Grade Level by Third Grade

By pairing young men of color with mentors and the necessary resources, the My Brother's Keeper program aims to achieve this goal.
