At Bat

At Bat At Bat is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit amateur sports agency that provides baseball and softball activities for at-risk youth in Michigan.

At Bat promotes physical and mental health, which consists of physical exercise and nutrition. The youth we serve receive nutritional education, participates in an organized sport that gives 30 minutes or more of physical exercise, and actively works with mentors to help boost self-esteem.

Today the team went to Invention Convention: U.S. Nationals at the Henry Ford Museum. The team utilized this time to walk through this years young inventors inventions, ask questions, and ideate what the future of baseball in our program will look like using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. We want to be able to get our Baseball & Robotics students at a level to where they are confident to compete in competitions such as this one! The future of baseball is NOW!
