Ready for a wild night out 😎 Our young adults deserve a night out on the town too! Our annual night out event consists of dinner with a modified menu with accommodations and visuals, a wallet filled with cash (all provided by BHU), and every table will have a buddy (volunteer) ready to socialize and have a great time. We will have great food by the best Malek Al-Kabob and some fun board games. Be sure to register! Participants must be 18 yrs of age or older, able to communicate basic needs/wants, and be semi independent. Link to register is in our bio 🍽️

You will see something new at Homecoming this year! There is a sensory tent that will be available all weekend long to encourage an inclusive event for all to enjoy. We kindly ask that only individuals that need the space utilize it. Be safe, have fun and enjoy!

This event is dedicated to honoring our families and celebrating the years of collective advocacy that have driven meaningful change for individuals with special needs in our communities. We will be reflecting on key milestones, including the implementation of new inclusive parks within the City of Dearborn and the vital accessibility accommodations introduced at major community spaces and events.

In addition to celebrating these achievements, we will be sharing major news with our families! It truly takes a village, and we want to share this wonderful news & acknowledge all those who helped make this happen!

This is a FREE event, and we want to thank for providing all the yummy food for our families to enjoy! Come on out for some summer fun in the park!

This one’s for the siblings. The siblings that show up, sacrifice, and love unconditionally. This amazing brother is only 13 years old, and he pushed his not so light brother for miles today. He cared for him, and reassured him when he became overstimulated. Refused to let anyone help, as he reminded us that he is his brothers protector 🥹 Siblings are often the unsung heroes and we just wanted to shed some light on this amazing brother! Rudy is very lucky to have such an amazing brother! 💚

We loved seeing how staff, and different classrooms all came together to encourage acceptance & awareness. We love seeing this being integrated into classrooms 👏
