A new hub for education, job training and opportunity is taking shape in Dearborn.

Wayne County invested $1.35 million to help Leaders Advancing and Helping Communities (LAHC ) transform a 6,000-square-foot building into a new workforce development, education and training facility.

Under County Executive Warren C. Evans, Wayne County continues to invest in opportunities that help residents build skills, pursue education and connect with meaningful employment.

The new facility will offer GED education, digital literacy, youth leadership, career fairs, workforce readiness and wraparound services, including behavioral health support.
