Yesterday Wild Ones Wayne County Michigan (WOWC) and Wild Ones North Oakland held a joint tour of a Warren Micro Forest, along with an Inter-Chapter Pot-Luck event! There were also a couple of optional tours available of shoreline restoration projects. Despite the threat of rain, it was a phenomenal afternoon! I'd like to thank Wild Ones Wayne County Program Chairs Steve Ray and Fran Tatarelli, Derek Shaffer, and Jennifer Ott for putting all these events together and making this a success!

Help out our friends at the Canton Nature Society next Monday evening!

Join us for a workday at Zibiwés Nature Area (6125 N. Ridge Road) as we work together to remove invasive species and care for this important natural area. Volunteers will learn about invasive species management, the history of the site, and upcoming restoration work planned for the area.
We will be offering two workday sessions:
Monday, August 17, 4–7 PM
Monday, August 24, 4–7 PM
