8 years…..8 years since I have kissed your chubby cheeks. 8 years of missing that perfect giggle. 8 years of wondering what kind of little boy you would be today…..

This year hits pretty hard because it’s the closest your angelversary and Easter have been since you passed.

I did something different this year. I booked myself a room at the casino last night. I got a massage. I took myself out to a nice dinner. It was an out of body experience just sitting in a busy restaurant and existing while everyone else’s life continued on, while I was stuck in a time warp it felt like.

This never gets easier my love. As I watch your little sisters personality continue to develop, it’s the most bittersweet thing. Because I constantly imagine the little boy you would be.

8 years and just yesterday is what it feels like. I love you more than you will ever know sweet boy. I miss you so much I feel it in my bones. I hope Heaven is as beautiful as you Lincoln Wayne. I love you so much ❤️💔
