Daniel Barden Mudfest 5 Mile, 5k, Kids Mud Run & Music Festival | Saturday, May 2, 2026 This event is a longer and more difficult version of the 5k Mud Run.

5 Mile 'Moher’

For the highly competitive group we will have the 5 mile 'Moher' Mud Run which will be a timed event. Not for the faint hearted or out of shape crowd.

5k Timed Mud Run

same as the 5k but timed for those competitive types!


5k Mud Run

This 5K race will be a challenge to the fittest of athletes, yet rewarding to all. The course will have unique natural obstacles with a Highland G

ames theme. Although kilts are not required, we strongly encourage them, in the spirit of the Highland Games! While finishing would be considered an accomplishment, time and a place finish will not be a factor. Teams are encouraged, as this awesome challenge is best enjoyed among friends! Challenging 5k event up and down the hills, through the woods in a beautiful country setting. Yes, there will be mud, it's in April/May. Yes, it may be cold and wet. Please wear a kilt with possibly some undergarments :) a comfortable shirt, and sneakers you won't mind getting muddy! After the event, warm yourself beside our fire pits, enjoy great local food, refreshments, and live music.

Dubbed the Boilermaker’s Dirty Little Brother, choose from a timed 5-mile, timed 5k, untimed 5K, or kids' run packed with mud, obstacles, and fun, no training required.
Run it, walk it, or crawl through it… just don’t miss it! More details & surprises coming SOON!
Volunteer sign-ups and sponsorships will also be available.
