🐾 A friendly reminder: New rules and guidelines have been posted on the pantry shed.

The Happy Tails Pet Pantry is monitored by security cameras, and we do see activity at the pantry. We simply ask that everyone please follow the posted guidelines and take only what they need so there is enough to share with other families and their pets in our community.

This pantry is made possible by the generosity of our donors and volunteers. Thank you for helping us keep it available for those who truly need it.

⚠️ PEDIGREE DOG FOOD RECALL ALERT ⚠️

Please check your dog's food if you feed canned Pedigree.

Affected Product: 🐾 PEDIGREE® High Protein Chopped Chicken & Duck Flavor Wet Dog Food 🥫 13.2-ounce cans

Affected Lot Codes (found on the bottom of the can): • 613C3KKCFC • 613C1KKCFC

Mars Petcare has announced a voluntary recall after discovering these products, which had been designated for destruction, appear to have been fraudulently diverted and sold through unauthorized channels in the United States. Authorities are now investigating how the products entered the marketplace.

The recalled cans may contain sharp pieces of metal and plastic, which can pose serious health risks to dogs, including: • Choking • Cuts or lacerations to the mouth or digestive tract • Gastrointestinal blockages

The FDA urges pet owners to check the labels and do not feed the recalled product if you have it.

According to Pedigree, no pet illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.

If you have one of the affected cans, stop using it immediately and contact Pedigree Consumer Care for a replacement.
