Today our Girl Scouts participated in the Raise Your Flag event! 🇺🇸

They had the opportunity to take part in a real flag ceremony; learning how to properly raise, handle, and respect the American flag.

One of the best parts? They got to work alongside Cadette Girl Scouts (6th graders), and our younger girls absolutely loved learning from them. 🥹

Moments like this build confidence, leadership, and connection across all levels of Girl Scouts!

Kyle Can Eat crushed it by eating 185 cookies 😳🍪 and generously donated $185 to our hometown hero’s ❤️👏🏻

A big THANK YOU to Grubaugh Orthodontics for hosting such an amazing Smile Social for the Girl Scouts! 💜

They got to check out each other’s teeth, learn about the different amounts of sugar in drinks (so eye-opening! 👀), and even design their own braces, how fun is that?!

🍪 Cookie Booth Season is officially underway! 🍪

We just started and these girls have already hit the ground running with multiple booths and I couldn’t be more proud.

Cookie booths aren’t just about selling cookies. They’re where the real learning happens.

At every booth the girls are practicing:
✨ Confidence — speaking to customers and making eye contact
✨ Money skills — handling cash, making change, tracking sales
✨ Goal setting — working toward troop and individual goals
✨ Teamwork — taking turns, sharing roles, encouraging each other
✨ Business skills — marketing, problem solving, and learning what works

This program funds their adventures, badges, community service projects, and big experiences throughout the year, but even more than that, it builds life skills they’ll carry with them long after cookie season ends.

So when you stop by a booth, you’re not just buying Thin Mints… you’re investing in leadership. 💚

So proud of our girls for celebrating the 100th anniversary of World Thinking Day!

World Thinking Day is a global Girl Scout tradition that connects girls in over 150 countries. It’s all about friendship, leadership, learning about different cultures, and remembering that we are part of a worldwide sisterhood. 🌎✨

The girls explored global traditions, connected with the bigger picture of Girl Scouts, and celebrated 100 years of girls making the world a better place.

I love that our troop gets experiences like this, it reminds them (and me) that we’re part of something so much bigger than just our little corner of Michigan. 💚
