As we all know, children are our future. What better way to brighten the future of today’s youth than by instilling the life values and lessons that can be learned through the wonderful game of golf? Honesty, Integrit
y, courtesy, respect and perseverance are some of the core lessons children can learn on the golf course which can often transcend off the course into their daily lives and futures. Right here in our very own DeKalb community, there are a number of gifted, bright, talented children with a plethora of potential who would cherish the opportunity to learn the game of golf who often are not in a position or are unable to do so. Your involvement might be as simple as taking a child with you on your next round, donating some of those old clubs that have been sitting in your garage or your child has out grown , or being so kind as to make a financial donation to purchase golf clubs, shoes, proper attire, greens fees and other equipment with 100% of these contributions going directly to local children right here in our own community! The success of Our Community, Our State, Our nation, Our World is 100% contingent on the success of our youth. You might be pleasantly surprised at what your involvement or small investment of time or financial contribution can make!
