What is Student Affairs 101?

Student Affairs 101 is a one-day conference designed to introduce and explore the dynamic field of student affairs. Co-hosted by graduate programs across Illinois, this annual event brings together aspiring and current student affairs professionals across the Midwest.

Anyone interested in a career in student affairs, or is already a professional in the field.

*Undergraduate Students interested in Higher Education & Student Affairs will gain insight into the field, learn how to prepare for graduate school, and connect with a variety of graduate programs.

*Graduate Students will benefit from professional development sessions, network with colleagues in the field, and share their insights with undergraduates just beginning thier journey.

* Student Affairs Professionals can use the conference as a recruitment opportunity, engage with emerging professionals to understand their interests and aspirations, and take advantage of affordable professional development via our new Student Affairs Professional track.

*Program Faculty & Coordinators are invited to host a table at the Graduate School Fair. Programs unable to attend in person may submit materials to be shared with attendees.

I would also encourage you to submit a program proposal if you have research, expertise, or a topic you would like to share with the conference community!
