Gathering Expeditions are a local step on the journey toward the “mountain top” of the 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering. Connecting youth across the church through worship, camp, community, and courageous conversations about faith, purpose, and leadership.

Join us at Carol Joy Holling Conference & Retreat Center, Sept. 11–13, 2026, for a weekend where:
• Youth and adult leaders listen for God together
• Leadership gifts are discovered and practiced
• Worship, campfire, and s’mores build deep community
• Stories of call and vocation come to life in The God Pod
