We are so saddened to hear of Carrie's passing.

Carrie created a truly special place in Downtown De Pere. La Vie Taverne brought people together and gave local musicians a welcoming place to share their music. She brought so much to our downtown community and will be deeply missed by so many.

Our hearts go out to her family, friends, and everyone at La Vie Taverne.

Congratulations to Orsetta Craft Kitchen & Bar for taking home the 2026 Golden Ladle award! Their Pumpkin and Pear Bisque was the crowd favorite at this year’s Soup Walk.

Coming in second was Brunch at the Oaks with their Hungarian Mushroom Soup, followed by Pasquale's International Café in third place with their Heart Sausage and Potato Soup.

Congratulations to all of this year’s participating businesses, and thank you for helping make the Soup Walk such a delicious tradition in downtown De Pere!

Our self-guided Historic Walking Tour takes you through Downtown De Pere’s history, from distinctive architecture and remnants of our industrial past to monuments, markers and places that have been part of our community for generations.

And fall makes a pretty great backdrop. Grab a coffee, wander into a shop, stop for lunch or dinner, and enjoy the changing colors along the way.

We know several people have asked whether our final farmers market would still take place because of the Packers season opener.

After careful consideration, the market scheduled for Thursday, September 24 will not take place. This decision was based on several factors including the game, attendance naturally winding down toward the end of the season, and unexpected changes in vendor availability. Taken together, we don't feel we would be able to offer the variety and experience we want for our vendors and visitors.

We’re disappointed that our season is ending earlier than planned, but we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who visited, participated, and supported our local vendors this season.

Thank you for being part of our market community. We look forward to seeing you next season. 💜

Tonight at One of One Gallery ✨

Proyecto Iluminador celebrates 20 Hispanic and Latino individuals (10 women and 10 men) who live in and contribute to the local community.

The exhibit pairs professional portraits with the participants’ personal stories and community contributions.

Proyecto Illuminador will remain on display through October 15 in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibit was created by the Illuminating Project in partnership with photographer Nichole Garcia of Squid Photography and One of One Gallery owner Abimael de Jesus.
