Part-time: nights, weekends, events.
Competitive pay. Must be TIP Certified.

Seeking friendly, dependable individuals to join our team. You should be exceptionally responsible, able to work alone, love teamwork, and strive for a professional, clean and organized environment. Prior experience preferred. We mostly serve beer, wine and easy mixed drinks, but you should be comfortable with making/learning cocktails, martinis and such to meet diverse customer requests.

We are open 7 days a week. Mon-Fri 5-10pm, Sat & Sun 1-10pm. Fri & Sat nights are generally later and upward to 1am during events. Pavilion events end by 930pm.

We 1st SERVE our very own Veteran members, and all those who have served, with Pride Respect and Integrity. 🇺🇸🙏🪖
We LOVE our community and neighbors. We welcome and treat them with the same care. We are indeed open to the public, with a sign in process. ❤️🤝🫂

You will have own set schedule, but with ability to cover/swap peers. Must have flexibility to pick up a scheduled Event shift on occasion. We have a Hall Room Rental above the main bar, and a seasonal Pavilion Rental, with a bar, on our lovely property grounds, which is currently in active season.

Our hearts are heavy. Prayers, hugs and blessings to Tammy St. Martin, their family, and all those who will be missing Brian.

Brian and Tammy have been providing our Karaoke service for some time now. We have developed a deep family love and appreciation for all they've done for us. The relationships, laughs, and sounds of joyful song will always remain in spirit.

May Brian rest so sweetly, and may Tammy find comfort in the memories and love forever tucked so deeply within . 🙏❤️

Wednesday night will be my final meeting as your Commander, and I want to reflect on what this organization stands for.
The VFW was built by veterans, for veterans of overseas conflicts.
To ensure our Post remains a sanctuary of camaraderie and support, we must strictly enforce our VFW Eligibility Requirements. Moving forward, we will be strictly vetting our ranks. If an individual does not qualify for membership, they cannot participate as a member.
Furthermore, respect is the foundation of our brotherhood and sisterhood.
Our bartenders, employees, and volunteers work hard to keep this Post running, and they deserve to be treated with dignity at all times. Disrespectful behavior toward our staff will not be tolerated.
Our facility is a private veterans' club, not a public bar. Every privilege to enter or use this space must be earned through honorable service or membership, and it must be respected.
I urge each member to review our VFW Rules of Order Governing All Meetings so we can continue our proud legacy of community service.
Thank you to the veterans, volunteers, and the Auxiliary who have supported me during my time as Commander.
I am stepping down knowing we are focused on protecting the integrity and mission of our Post.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Arthur Benzie ‘Tarz’, who left us peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 11 AM at Quasset Cemetery in Woodstock, CT. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering a life well lived. A formal obituary to follow.
