Please go and like our page, Restoring Hearts Ministry. We do not do as much as we once did but we still have a food ministry. We have volunteers that pick up 6 days a week from Wawa and from Chick-fil-A. We have volunteers represent three local churches and provide the food through food pantries or outreaches. Strong Tower Fellowship in Ormond Beach, Family Worship on Ridgewood and Kingdom Family Church in Port Orange on Ridgewood in Daytona Beach. We appreciate each and every one of our volunteers that they are faithful to pick up the food donations and distribute them. We started our ministry in Katy, Texas many many years ago. The Ministry has evolved over the years. We started out collecting furniture, appliances, clothing, baby clothes, and many other things. We partnered with a ministry in the inner city of Houston Texas. We had large storage facilities and we had people that folded and coordinated and then we would put up a big tent and have free church. We gave everything away. We lived in an more influential area in Katy Texas so the donations that came were of great quality. We moved to Daytona Beach in 2015 and transition to a different type of ministry here. We still collected clothes and furniture in the beginning and ultimately we had a food pantry for number of years. I still find clothing on my patio that people will drop off and donate and I make sure they go to a good home. I may not be as hands-on as I once was but I know that we're still doing something that makes God happy, feeding people.
