It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Rev. Barbara Snead Gamble, beloved wife of our fellow Rotarian, Pete Gamble.

Our Rotary family extends its heartfelt condolences to Pete, his children, grandchildren, and the entire Gamble family during this incredibly difficult time.

Barbara’s life touched many, and we know how deeply she was loved by Pete and their family. We hold Pete especially close in our hearts as he mourns the loss of his beloved wife and life partner.

Please join us in surrounding Pete and his family with love, prayers, strength, and comfort in the days ahead.

Just a reminder: in observance of Labor Day, the Rotary Club of Daytona Beach will not meet on Monday, August 31, or Monday, September 7. We'll be back to our regular schedule on Monday, September 14, and look forward to seeing everyone then. Enjoy the holiday and the extra time with family!

Rotary fellowship was in full swing as members from several local clubs gathered for a fun evening at the Daytona Tortugas game!

A special highlight was seeing our own club member, Basil Bullard, receive the honor of throwing out the first pitch.

It’s always great when like minded people come together to connect, share ideas and enjoy a little fun. You never know what new friendships, partnerships or opportunities for service may come from it!
