Congratulations to Rotary Club of Daytona Beach member Jonathan Gildon on receiving his Paul Harris Fellow +5 recognition! What an incredible milestone and reflection of his ongoing commitment to Service Above Self.

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition honors individuals who contribute, or whose contributions are made in their name, to The Rotary Foundation. A +5 designation represents a remarkable level of sustained giving and support toward Rotary’s mission of creating lasting change around the world. Through these contributions, Rotary continues to fund life-changing initiatives, including polio eradication, clean water projects, education, maternal and child health, disease prevention, peacebuilding, and economic development.

Thank you, Jonathan, for helping Rotary “Unite for Good” and for making a meaningful impact both locally and globally through your generosity and service. 💙💛

You don’t come back from new experiences the same 💭
Paul Harris wrote about this feeling in Peregrinations III, his account of traveling with his wife Jean to Central and South America in 1936:
“Were we the same Jean and Paul Harris who had left our home so brief a period of time in the past, or were we a new, broader visioned and wiser twain? We felt that we could truthfully say we were not the same and that we could never be the same again.”
We’re reminded: service starts with connection, and the willingness to see the world and each other differently.
