In 1967, Ferrari achieved a historic triple win, finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Daytona 24 hour race. Fifty years later, the Ferrari Club of America will honor and celebrate this iconic achievement by holding its Annual International Meet at Daytona International Speedway. Come, enjoy our hospitality and experience one of the most historic and exciting race tracks in the world. Each year, the F
errari Club of America (FCA) holds an International Meet in a different location in the United States or Canada. This Meet typically attracts 300 to 500 participants and approximately 150-250 Ferraris. These Meets are for members of the FCA and members of other factory-recognized Ferrari Owners Clubs worldwide. The 2017 Ferrari Club of America Annual International Meet, hosted by the Florida Region of the FCA, is not to be missed. All traditional FCA Meet activities will take place within the spectacular Daytona International Speedway, including:
• The internationally-recognized FCA Field and Driving Concours d’Elegance.
• The Competitive Rally with challenging questions to answer along coastal and inland regions of Central Florida.
• Two days of racetrack activities at Daytona International Speedway on the full Rolex 24 sports car course, with our group of skilled instructors available to help you learn the track or enhance your skills.
• A vendor market (Mercato di Ferrari).
• Seminars, receptions, charity auction.
• Gala Banquet with major award presentations,
• and on Friday afternoon, a scenic Pleasure Drive to Celebration, Florida. After four days of action at the Speedway (including Concours, Track, Rallies and Social events), you will be invited to move to Celebration, FL to participate in the renowned Celebration Exotic Car Festival, featuring:
• VIP dinner and an evening with Jay Leno at Hard Rock Live.
• Concours and display of more than 400 exotic cars in downtown Celebration.
• Wine pairing dinner at the Four Seasons with a concert by the contemporary revival swing band, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy,
• and the famous Celebration Road Rally, starting with a police es**rt. Even if you are experienced running your Prancing Horse on road courses, you have a completely new experience in store for you at FCA 2017 at Daytona – The Great Temple of Speed in North America – where history has been written so many times over the past 58 years. Arguably the greatest of the American super speedways, Daytona combines a fine one-mile road course with a banked 2.5 mile tri-oval of colossal proportions – 31 degrees of banking (62% grade!) with a track so long and banking so significant, that it comes close to simulating a straight of endless length for all but the fastest Prancing Horses. You will have the opportunity to have an experience like no other; a bucket list item for the ages. It is also a great opportunity for FCA members new to the track experience to safely drive this immortal high-banking and cross the same finish line as did the trio of red Ferraris in 1967! It will be a thrilling experience for members of all skill levels and for Ferraris of all types and ages. With three run groups (Red, Blue and White) there will be a place for every driver, from the most experienced track pilot to the first timer with no previous track experience. Hotels
Since all activities in Daytona will take place within the Speedway itself, there will be no host hotel for the Meet. There are a large number of hotels available in the area and FCA has arranged blocks of rooms at eight different hotels. Five of these are “business hotels” within a few minutes of the Speedway and three hotels are more upscale “oceanfront” hotels . Likewise, there are a great many hotel choices in the Orlando area that are convenient to Celebration. FCA is negotiating blocks of rooms in Celebration for our members and should have this information available by the end of August. CECF will be providing hotel recommendations at registration. So make plans to join us in early April 2017 for a fabulous and memorable Ferrari occasion!
