Today's breakfast we had twenty in attendance and missing a couple of our regular members and visitors (Al), Our ride this Friday will be to the Mason Jar Restaurant in Umatilla. Leaving McDonalds on Dunlawton KSU at 0900, and will meet northern riders at the Race Trac US 92 and Tomoka Farms at the WEST entrance approx 0915. At this time 2 or 3 other central Florida chapters will meet us at the Mason Jar at 1100. Our member Keith Peck rode his Calif Patrol BMW, Nice Bike. Our Bike Week event will be at the FOP in New Smyrna. I hope to see you there, we've had inquiries from around the State and the country. Come celebrate Bike Week with us and enjoy the Brotherhood of Brother Knights and Brother Law Enforcement Officers.
BIKE WEEK 2025 MARCH 1STTHROUGH THE 9TH
Daytona Beach chapter FL-IX having our weekly breakfast at Bob Evans on Dunlawton Ave in Port Orange at 0900, Thursday evening we will be hosting a hospitality evening on Thursday March 6th, 1600–1900 at the FOP at 471 Old Mission Rd. New Smyrna Beach, with hors d’oeuvers, and beverages. A continental breakfast will be served and a ride on Friday March 7th at 0900. A guided ride at 1000. At approx 1400 a light lunch and refreshments will be served. There will be an auction and door prizes and 50/50. All will be at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 40, 471 Old Mission Road, New Smyrna Beach, Fl. You are guaranteed to have a good time and meet up with some old friends. Entertainment is scheduled for the lunch by Tri-state International Rep and International Presidential Candidate Russ Harper. Camping is available at the FOP or at Dave Hinshaw’s residence in the country outside of Edgewater. Please advise by email or text at 386-689-0809 if you are interested in a camping spot. We are working on a hamburger and hot dog BBQ at this time. Raffle tickets for a SCCY- DVG 9mm, will be available for $5.00 ea. as well as numerous auction items. All funds raised above costs, will be donated to the Concerns of Police Survivors, in memory of the three Palm Beach Deputies and Charlotte County Deputy who lost their lives in the Line of Duty this past year.
On Saturday there will be a Chili cook off sponsored by FL XXII to help with the needs of a FLXXII member Steve (retired NYPD) injured on a run. Registration at 1769 E. Moody Blvd Bunnell, KSU at 1030, ride ending at Herschel King Park, 1000 Grady Prather Jr. Palm Coast, Fl. $20/rider & $10 passenger. Contact FL-XXII for a flyer.
