Hello Friends & Family of the Fly Like an Eagle 5K!

Unfortunately, we will not be able to host our 5K this year. Although we are disappointed, we are already looking ahead to 2024 plans and hope to have a great event in store for everyone!

Embry-Riddle has notified us of the 2023-2024 scholarship recipient, and we will be sending out a notification post shortly.

We are so thankful for you all and your continued support. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season 🙂

A HUGE thank you to all who joined us on Thanksgiving both virtually and in-person, for our 2nd Annual Fly Like an Eagle 5K!!

⭐️Our female winner was Rebecca Reilley, with a time of 20:33!
⭐️Our male winner was Brooks Truskett with a time of 20:09!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all who donated their time, generosity, and support to the Charles C Concannon Memorial Scholarsbip fund throughout this past year. “Thank you” doesn’t begin to cover it 💙🤍

🚨🚨IMPORTANT🚨🚨 Race Day Info:

Please plan on arriving between 8-8:30 am and park at at the Rustin High School stadium parking lot. The race will begin promptly at 9am.

We will be taking same day registration as well ($40 for runners with bib, $35 for walkers). Run the Day will be our timing service again this year!

The 5K course will be led this year with a bike pacer, and walkers have the option of a ~1.5 mi loop or doing the full 3.1 mi loop.

We will have a prize for the overall 1st female and 1st male 5K run winners.

We are excited for what should be a fun start to Thanksgiving day! As always, thank you for your incredible support in helping us put more Eagles into the sky! 💙

We wanted to recognize and celebrate the first recipient of the Charles C. Concannon Memorial Scholarship at Embry-Riddle - Claudia Koutsantanou!

Claudia is double major, pursuing a bachelor's degree in both Aeronautical Science and Computational Mathematics with a Data Science Track. She is a member of the Eagles Flight Team and works on campus as a Virtual Reality Technician in the Preflight Immersion Lab as well as a dispatcher for the simulation center. Claudia recently competed in the Flight Team Regionals' Simulated Cross Country Navigation (SCAN) event where she and her team placed first and will move on to Nationals in the spring. She holds a private pilot certificate and is currently pursuing her commercial certificate. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, time at the beach and making new connections. Congratulations, Claudia!

We are looking forward to our 5K next week and are so grateful to each one of you for all the support helping us put more Eagles in the sky.
