We had a heavenly-harvest of fun at Riverwalk’s Fall Festival! 🧡🍁
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported our mission, and celebrated with us. From lots of candy and creative costumes, it was a day to remember!

When the Lord directed me to serve 40 of his people it didn’t dawn on me how powerful the number 40 was until the day before outreach.

I remembered how Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness and was tempted by the devil.
- God ordered the rains for 40 days and 40 nights during the great flood. (Genesis 7:12)
- Moses’ fast on Mount Sinai for 40 days and 40 night as he wrote the ten commandants (Exodus 34:28)
- Goliath taunted the Israelites for 40 days before David defeated him (1 Samuel 17:16)
This is not by accident. Each of these events brought trials and tribulations and on the other side came victory and restoration. I pray each person who received a meal today felt’s God’s glory through our work during this time of trials.
