What we do at KEEPERS of the Bond:
-Research the origins and foundation of the human-animal bond through extensive hands-on work, as well as interviews with successful handlers of primitive/aboriginal canines.
-Create a sense of stewardship towards animals, by encouraging individuals to focus on what they personally can do to help.
-Develop a network to distribute physical resources such as food
and fencing, financial assistance, and training/behavioral services, thus enabling people to keep their pets in the family.
- Produce educational materials for pet owners and the general public.
-Mentor the next compassionate and nonjudgmental generation of animal welfare advocates. Keepers of the Bond maintains an international, virtual presence and works with other non-profits and private individuals around the globe to achieve our purposes. We primarily operate within the United States, but are also networked with people in Australia, New Guinea, and Canada. We maintain physical locations in Dayton, OH and Eden, NC, with other fosters and relationships spread throughout the USA.
