⭐️ Faculty Spotlight ⭐️

Introducing Sarah!

Sarah’s journey in dentistry started at her childhood dentist where she started working in 2007. She learned so many good foundations there that propelled her into the career she has today. She attended OSU College of dentistry for EFDA school in 2014. She got her bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 and started teaching in Sinclair’s EFDA department in 2019.

Her favorite thing about working in dentistry is the people that she has met and the relationships built along the way. When she is not working with teeth, she is a full time Mom & Wife. She has 2 amazing daughters that keep her busy with their sports and animals. Her husband is a farmer and owns a crop insurance agency. They live on the family farm and love living in the country! Her number one hobby in life is spending time with family and friends laughing and making memories! 🦷🩷

🎉🎉Last week we welcomed 75 incoming EFDA students to orientation. Their journey is officially underway, and we can’t wait to see everything they accomplish! 💫

Say hello to Kimberly!

Kim brings over 33 years of experience in dentistry and has been a valued member of the Sinclair team since the Fall of 2022. She takes pride in helping students feel comfortable and confident in their skills.

When she is not teaching or working in private practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and granddaughter Brynner! 💜🦷🦷💜

🌟Faculty Spotlight🌟

Meet the face behind the page and the EFDA program director, Erica! She has been teaching at Sinclair for eight years and is passionate about elevating the educational experience for her students while helping them expand their dental careers. She takes great pride in her students and finds joy in watching them achieve their goals. Prior to teaching full-time she worked in private practice for 15 years.

In addition to managing the largest EFDA program in Ohio, she teaches dental anatomy, nutrition, dental radiology, local anesthesia, research, and dental materials, and serves as the faculty student chapter advisor for the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also just a few weeks away from earning her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Performance.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors ☀️, traveling, and reading. 💜🦷

🌟Faculty Spotlight 🌟

Jamie brings over 16 years of experience as a Dental Assistant/EFDA and 2 years as a Dental Hygienist. She has built her career around compassionate, patient-centered care. She currently works in private practice three days a week, and also serves at Sinclair on Mondays in the EFDA clinic, rotating into the Hygiene clinic every other Friday. Her passion is helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for while also supporting the next generation entering the dental field.

Outside the office, you can almost always find her camping, soaking up the sunshine at the beach, or spending quality time with her kids and their dog, Nellie. 💜
