On August 12th, the girls attended our favorite parade—the Iowa State Fair Parade! 🎉

One of our generous sponsors, Kemna Auto Fort Dodge, lends us a gorgeous truck each year and even takes the time to wrap it for us! If you’re in need of a new vehicle, we highly recommend checking them out. They have some of the best salespeople we’ve ever had the privilege of working with!

On our way to Des Moines, we made a quick stop at our coordinator’s workplace. Ogden Kids Club was just wrapping up their day when we stopped by. We got to visit with some of the kids about the Dayton Rodeo, what the queens and flag carriers do, and why they should come join us in Dayton September 4–7!

After the parade, we made our annual stop at Texas Roadhouse, where we enjoyed some great food and, even better, lots of laughs. ❤️

We are thrilled to see you all on the hill September 4–7! Be on the lookout for opportunities to meet the queens in person at our Kids Corral. 👑🐴

We can’t wait to see you there!

Our Miss Dayton Rodeo Queen kicked off the month of August attending her hometown parade. The Farmer Appreciation Days is in Lake Park, IA the first weekend of August. During these days, the town celebrates by hosting a parade, mud volleyball tournaments, a pedal pull, a street dance, a car show, and so much more! Addison rode beside Rylee Renken. Fun fact- the horse Rylee is on use to be one of Addisons horses, and she plans to take that horse to Iowa Central Community College this fall!

The following weekend, the girls helped wrap up our last Dayton Wranglers Match of the Broncs Rodeo series. The girls helped push out cattle, our American and Iowa Flag carriers represented our nations colors, and the queens also were able to present our champion buckles.

Stay tuned for our biggest parade of the year, the Iowa State Fair Parade!

What a busy past 5 weeks it has been!

Our two queens represented the Dayton Championship Rodeo at the Lake City IRCA rodeo, and had the privilege to queen with Miss IRCA, Jessica Meseck, and Miss Rodeo Lake City, Lily Genter. The girls had a blast doing queen laps and interacting with the crowd.

On July 4th, the club made their way to Gowrie for their annual 4th of July parade. We were joined by Isaiah Ihrig, carrying the Dayton Wranglers IRCA URA Rodeo flag, along with Spencer Suchan.

The following weekend, we made a trip to Stratford on Saturday morning to lead their parade. We had a few more flag carriers that helped carried sponsor flags throughout the parade!

On July 11th, the Dayton Wranglers Saddle Club had their annual Dayton IRCA/URA rodeo. After the Stratford parade, the girls raced back to help push out slack with the Wright Rodeo Co. crew. We were honored to have Miss Rodeo Iowa Inc., Grace Collins, Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa, Ellie Evans, and IRR - Rodeo Queen, RaeLynn Wildeboer join us for an action packed night! The girls did queen waves, pushed out cattle, and helped sell frisbees for our frisbee toss!

To wrap out our busy month of July, our Iowa Flag Carrier, Lynnlee Campbell, lead the Stanhope Watermelon Days Parade with our American Flag.

Thank you to everyone that has pitched in where help was needed, kept our girls hydrated during this heat wave, and most importantly, had fun with us!

We will see you guys at the Dayton Wranglers Match of the Broncs Rodeo Finals on August 8-9!

This past weekend, we crowned the new 2026 Dayton Rodeo Queens and announced our 2026 Dayton Rodeo American Flag & Iowa Flag Carriers! 🤠🇺🇸

On Saturday, May 9, the day was filled with pageant and tryout activities. The American Flag tryouts consisted of horsemanship and a National Anthem pattern, while the queen pageant included horsemanship, interviews, modeling, impromptu questions, and a written test.

Saturday night gave everyone a chance to relax and bond a little more. We ordered pizza, shared stories, and even made dinosaurs out of air-dry modeling clay! 🦖🍕

Sunday afternoon, we officially crowned and announced our 2026 Dayton Rodeo Royalty:

🇺🇸 2026 Dayton Rodeo American Flag Carrier – Amanda Sether
💙 2026 Dayton Rodeo Iowa Flag Carrier – Lynnlee Campbell
👑 2026 Dayton Rodeo Jr. Queen – Millie Egli
👑 2026 Dayton Rodeo Queen – Addison Anderson

We cannot thank our judges, contestants, contestants’ parents, Dayton Wranglers Saddle Club Board members, and Dayton Championship Rodeo Celebration Committee Board members enough for everything you do. Your dedication to the future of rodeo and our organization does not go unnoticed!

A huge shoutout goes to Cole Walters for all of his hard work throughout the weekend. From cleaning Shed ‘37, pushing cattle down for horsemanship, to helping hold gates and horses — we appreciate you!

Congratulations to all of our contestants and our new 2026 royalty! We are excited for the year ahead!
