OMG, this analysis is brilliant! Big props to my lady for finding this! So much of what they broke down says the significance in such a powerful way. Please read through the info on each pic & take it in, it's so very worth it! And there were things I missed that make Bad Bunny aka Benito's Halftime Show hit even harder for me now.

I can't wait to watch it again w/my kiddo this evening. But for all of their Boricua insight they missed a big one.

The pic of Ricky Martin singing. 🥹 He sang not just any song but rather "Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii," a powerful testimony to the impact of colonialism, imperialism & gentrification. It's about caring deeply for Puerto Rico & wanting to protect her, which of course both Benito & Ricky feel deeply. This is a critical point of the artistic intent Benito & Ricky had for this moment. Not that it looked like the album cover! Come on...🤦🏽‍♀️ The analysis of so much of this collection of photos was fantastic, pero they gotta update that one's caption por favor!😄🙏🏽 💖🇵🇷🔥🐰🔥🇵🇷💖

BREAKING: Senate Democrats just voted 44-55 to block DHS and other agencies funding. The two sides are currently discussing a possible agreement to avoid a government shutdown by separating DHS funding from the rest of the legislation in order to further negotiations and fund it only for a short time.

The City of Cincinnati passed a resolution deonuncing the ICE shooting of Renee Good and urging any federal law enforcement officers in Cincinnati to comply with city policy, which includes requirements regarding body cameras, officer identification and masks.

Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Kearney said the city isn't just asking ICE to follow local policies — "we demand it."

Statement from LULAC National as they build a coalition with other organizations to demand a full Congressional investigation into the murder of wife and mother Renee Macklin Good. I can't imagine how horrific it had to be for her wife to witness all of that. Her wife & children deserve this investigation.

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny will headline the Super Bowl 60 halftime show, Apple Music announced during halftime of “Sunday Night Football.”

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was the third-most-played artist on Spotify in 2024, according to the music streamer. A global superstar, Bad Bunny has been dubbed the “King of Latin Trap” for his Spanish-language raps.

Super Bowl 60 will take place Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the San Francisco 49ers. The game will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
