We were sad to hear that BG (Ret.) Evelyn "Pat" Foote passed away earlier this week. BG Foote was a trailblazer whose 29 years of service included many milestones. The Wake Forest grad served a tour in Vietnam in 1967 as the Plans and Projects Officer for the Director of the Women’s Army Corps. She went on to be a faculty member of the Army War College, to command the 42nd Military Police Brigade, and to serve as Commanding General of Fort Belvoir. Once she retired, Pat continued to champion for causes that benefited Army women. ​
