For those of you looking for some assistance with an adult evaluation, Dr. Rebecca S. Martinez (she is bilingual) is the sole clinician at the Adult Autism Specialist, a telehealth-based practice focused exclusively on comprehensive autism evaluations for adults. Her work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach, with a particular emphasis on individuals who may have been overlooked or misdiagnosed earlier in life.

In terms of insurance, she operate as a private-pay (out-of-network) practice and does not accept insurance directly. She is happy to provide detailed documentation (a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.

The Dayton Autism Society (Autism Society-Greater Miami Valley) has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 DAS 5K Run/Walk. While this event has served as an important fundraiser supporting our family grant program and other community activities, we encourage you to be on the lookout for other opportunities to support our organization.
