There are no words adequate enough to describe how thankful we are to have a partnership with Shoes 4 the Shoeless! Our kids were able to be fitted for shoes that actually fit them, to help their feet develop as they should and play without pain! We are so grateful for partners like you that care for our kids so well!
We spent the morning with another one of our favorite, and oldest partners - KIND Dayton, one of our communities most valuable assets and a true oasis to children in need.
During the school year, they operate as an after-school program where homework help, food, safety, fellowship, fun, laundry facilities, mentoring and more are given. During the summer they transition into a four morning a week program.
Life is extremely hard for thousands of children all around us, especially in the summer.They go hungry. They are not safe in their neighborhoods, and some not even in their own homes.
They have nothing to do and nowhere to go. They lack the basics like clean clothes, underwear, hygiene products such as toothbrushes and soap.
These children often carry heavy burdens of fear, despair and hopelessness.
We thank God for our partners at KIND. They do incredibly important and hard work on behalf of some of the most forgotten children in our area. They fill a gap no one else can.
We loved putting MUCH needed shoes and socks on their children today.Kids need to be able to run and play without their feet hurting.
Bringing relief is a privilege.
