Finally, we want to recognize our President Erica Gonzales, for everything she has done for Silverada Little League.

For the past three years, Erica has been the backbone of Silverada Little League. While many see her at the fields, countless hours have also been spent behind the scenes planning, organizing, communicating, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The role of a Little League President is demanding, requiring dedication, leadership, and an incredible amount of volunteer time.

Not only does she help run our board, but has made it a family affair! Erica’s oldest son helped in the snack shack, her middle son umpired games, and her husband coached their youngest sons 10-12’s team during the season, and our Little League All Star Team!

Because of your commitment, hundreds of children have had the opportunity to learn the game, build friendships, and create lifelong memories. Your passion, leadership, and selfless service have left a lasting impact on our league and community.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication, your countless hours of service, and your commitment to making our league the best it can be. Your hard work has never gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you have done for our baseball and softball families.

Today we want to recognize Chris Young, our incredible Field & Maintenance Manager, for everything he has done for Silverada Little League over the past two years.

Chris is the kind of volunteer every league hopes to have. Whether it's stepping behind the plate to umpire a game (often at least once a week), helping prepare the fields, coaching players, or lending a hand wherever it's needed, Chris is always willing to pitch in.

If you've been out at the fields, you've probably seen Chris there—even when he doesn't have a job to do. He's there because he genuinely loves the game, enjoys supporting our players, and believes in what Silverada Little League stands for.

His passion for baseball, dedication to our community, and commitment to creating a positive experience for every player have made a lasting impact on our league.

Chris, thank you for your countless hours, your servant's heart, and your unwavering support of Silverada Little League. We appreciate everything you do and are so grateful to have you on our board.

Today we're celebrating our incredible Coach Coordinator, Michael Soukup!

If we had to describe Michael in one sentence, it would be: "I'll do whatever you need." No matter what the task was, Michael was always ready to step up and help without hesitation.

As our Coach Coordinator, Michael was a tremendous resource for our coaches, always encouraging them to follow the rules while supporting them throughout the season. But his contributions went far beyond his board position. He served as the Head Coach of our Majors division, assisted with our 10-12’s All-Star team, umpired games when we were short-handed, worked as Board Member on Duty, helped in the snack shack, and was always willing to tackle whatever needed to be done around the fields.

Behind the scenes, Michael was often the voice of reason. When challenges came up, he had a way of helping everyone step back, think through the situation, and find a practical solution. He was always willing to communicate, problem-solve, and do whatever he could to help move the league forward.

And when it came to volunteering, Michael never shied away from the jobs that others didn't want. He was the one who could be counted on to work those long Saturdays at the fields, putting in the time and effort to make sure everything ran smoothly for our players and families.

Thank you, Michael, for your dedication, your hard work, and your willingness to always say "yes" when Silverada needed you. Your selfless attitude and commitment to our league made a tremendous impact this season, and we are so grateful for everything you did.

Today we're celebrating our Safety Officer & UIC, Adam Smith!

Adam was always willing to step up whenever the league needed an umpire. Whether it was filling in at the last minute, scheduling umpires, or mentoring our junior umpires, Adam was someone we could always count on. He also helped recruit some high school students to umpire, giving them an opportunity to get involved while helping ensure our games could be played.

If you were at the fields this season, chances are you saw Adam behind the plate. He umpired around 25 games himself and was always ready to lend a hand wherever it was needed. While he helped all over the league, you could tell he especially enjoyed working the Junior Division games, and the players always enjoyed having him as their umpire.

Thank you, Adam, for everything you did this season. From mentoring young umpires and helping with scheduling to spending your evenings and weekends on the fields, your willingness to help made a big difference for our league. We truly appreciate all you did for Silverada Little League!

Today we're celebrating our incredible Player Agent,Kirby Jordan!

Kirby has been the heart of our board for the past two years, and anyone who knows her can see how deeply she cares about every single player in our league. She has taken on one of the toughest jobs on the board with grace, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to making sure every player has a positive experience.

As our Player Agent, Kirby created all of our practice and game schedules, coordinated with coaches, organized and ran our Skills Assessment, and facilitated the player draft to ensure every team was built fairly. She spent countless hours behind the scenes making sure everything was organized and ready for our players, coaches, and families.

But Kirby's dedication didn't stop there. She was a familiar face at the fields all season long, serving as Board Member on Duty while her daughter volunteered in the snack shack. She also stepped onto the field as an assistant coach for her son's team, always willing to help wherever she was needed.

Kirby has always been an advocate for our players. She works hard to make sure they are getting opportunities to play, learning good sportsmanship, growing their love of the game, and most importantly—having fun. Her passion for our league and our kids shines through in everything she does.

Thank you, Kirby, for your dedication, your compassion, and for taking on one of the most demanding roles on our board with such grace. Silverada Little League is a better place because of everything you do, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our league family.

Today we're celebrating our Concession Manager, Ryan MooreBace!

Ryan was so much more than our Concession Manager. He helped organize and get the snack shack ready before the season, shopped for concession supplies, recruited volunteers to work in the snack shack, and spent many weekends serving our Silverada families from behind the concession window.

His willingness to help didn't stop there. Ryan also served as a Board Member on Duty, assisted with coaching during the regular season, helped coach our 8–10 All-Star team, volunteered during our pitching clinic, and helped run drills during Skills Assessment. Anytime we had an "All Hands on Deck" event, Ryan was there ready to jump in and help wherever he was needed.

Ryan was always someone we could count on to say "yes" when help was needed. Whether it was coaching on the field, stocking the snack shack, or volunteering at league events, he was always willing to lend a hand and do his part to make the season a success.

Thank you, Ryan, for everything you did for Silverada Little League this season. Your willingness to volunteer, support our players, and help wherever needed made a difference, and we truly appreciate everything you did for our league.

Today we're celebrating our amazing Secretary, Teryn Aguilera!

If every board needs a cheerleader, Teryn was ours. No matter what challenges came our way, she was always looking for the bright side and reminding us to focus on the good. Her positivity, encouragement, and smile were contagious, and she helped lift up everyone around her.

As our Secretary, Teryn never skipped a beat. She kept detailed notes, helped keep our board organized, stepped in as Board Member on Duty, ordered and sorted uniforms, worked in the snack shack, and was always the first to volunteer wherever she was needed. Instead of having the league pay for an Opening Day balloon arch, she generously offered to create it herself, making our opening ceremonies even more special. She even made sure the board was fed during our long days at the fields!

One of the things we admire most about Teryn is that she brings her family along to volunteer, teaching her children the importance of giving back, serving their community, and leading by example. That kind of leadership creates a legacy that extends far beyond the baseball field.

Thank you, Teryn, for jumping in during your very first year with such enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication. Your positive attitude and willingness to help made a tremendous impact on Silverada, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our league family.

Next up, we have our Treasurer, Kara Burgess!

Kara is our Silverada "lifer." She has been volunteering with our league in one way or another since her son first stepped onto the field as a T-ball player. Her dedication to Silverada has spanned years, and her love for our league is evident in everything she does.

As our Treasurer, Kara is the definition of someone who works behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. She keeps our league on budget, shops for concession supplies, makes countless bank deposits, and helps keep our board organized and on track throughout the season.

But Kara's work doesn't stop there! She also spent countless hours at the fields, always willing to jump in and help wherever she was needed. Whether she was handling league finances, stocking the snack shack, helping at events, or lending a hand wherever it was needed, Kara was always there with the willingness to help.

Thank you, Kara, for your years of dedication, your hard work, and the countless hours you've poured into Silverada. Volunteers like you are the heart of our league, and we truly couldn't have done it without you.
